Subterranean
The 1990s
Karl and his brother Magnús Jónsson worked with hip-hop in Sweden before returning to Iceland in 1995, operating as Kreative Krew before Subterranean formed. He is credited as Charlie D on the 1997 album Central Magnetizm. Subterranean reunited for a Reykjavík performance in 2026.
